Our domestic and international role

Thalassa House (in cooperation with three other domestic clinics) played a decisive role in the development of the conditions, regulations and state financing environment of the independent psychotherapeutic rehabilitation profession in Hungary.

We take an active role in the training of domestic undergraduate and postgraduate professionals, as well as participating in several domestic conferences, workshops to present and share our experiences every year.

For many years, we had been able to maintain our membership and participate in the work of the International Association of Therapeutic Communities – the Community of Communities Quality Auditing Network.

We are a founding member of the INDTC - International Network of Democratic Therapeutic Comminities.

Our clinical team members have been attending the annual LFA (Learnig from Action) working conference with other representatives of therapeutic communities.

Volunteers are continuously joining our therapeutic community with a longer term (average 6 months) commitment from Hungary to participate in the everyday activities.
